After a long vacation I’m so itching to go back to school and finish my clinical requirements. It was official that school starts on June 15. Unfortunately this date also means start of class for other schools. I took a jeepney to go to school and I almost died. First there was traffic. Second it was a very humid morning and I was sweating. Third, TAFT avenue is so polluted. I think I acquired emphysema from all that car emissions and other air pollution stuffs during that 30-minute journey to school. I was literally coughing to expel the smoke. Uggghhh. I think I need to ride the bus from now on.
I assumed that class orientation would be on the morning and clinics will open in the afternoon. When I got there I was surprised that the clinics was closed. I asked the clinics lab assistant what’s going on and she said that there’s an ongoing orientation in the school’s auditorium and that clinics will start on thursday. In my mind I was screaming “NO FREAKING WAY!!!!”. Oh well there goes my appointments in the afternoon. Everything down the drain! I have to reschedule my patients again. And as for the orientation, I skipped it. I never do orientation at all. I make it a tradition not to be present for 1st day orientation. Hehehehe. It’s just a waste of my time. Fortunately the assistant was nice and let me into the clinic so I can prepare all my school stuffs. After that I braved TAFT avenue again and endured a 30-minute polluted journey. It’s so good to be back at home.
