I brought my vivitar ultra wide slim camera with me to China. I’m new to the “lomography” hobby. But I don’t think my camera is considered lomo; it’s just a toy cam. Anyway I acquired the camera last year and although I was inspired and trigger-happy on the first few months, I became unenthusiastic after because it’s a very expensive hobby, darn it! The cost of film and the cost of processing the film and turning it into CD (in the US, it’s like 10USD just for 2 rolls of film and a cd) can really put a dent in my pocket.
In the Philippines, I brought the rolls to Digiprint per my cousin’s advice. I’m really satisfied with Digiprint’s service and price. They would process and put your film into CD for 155PHP for 1 roll (regardless of number of exposure). A cd can fit 5 rolls, additional rolls would only cost 30PHP each. Not only that, they would deliver the cd and negatives to your address for free. So no hassle at all! If you want a list of their stores, click here.
I just got my cd and negatives yesterday. I was so unhappy with my shots. It’s not the store’s fault, mind you. Most of my shots were underexposed because the weather was just so foggy and my ISO was under 100. The color was heavily saturated – my fault because I was using slide films. So now I learn many lessons. Next time I’m going to use C41 films and with 200 to 400ISO. I’ll stop using slide films for a while. I should remember my camera doesn’t do macro shots and doesn’t have flash so no indoor and macro shooting. Slide films are reserved for sunny days and colorful scenes.
So I just collated passable pictures and uploaded them. To view my pictures, click here. Feel free to comment and give tips.

Love this blog I’ll be back when I have more time.
